The Farm Service Agency showcased its programs to more than 300,000 people this month during the 45th Annual National Farm Machinery Show in Kentucky.
Dubbed the largest indoor farm show in the nation, FSA was one of nearly 850 exhibitors at the show filling the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center’s eight interconnected exhibit halls totaling more than 1.2 million square feet of indoor exhibit space.
FSA provided information on the Biomass Crop Assistance Program, Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments, disaster assistance programs and farm loans.
“We in Kentucky are proud to display our programs at the National Farm Machinery Show. FSA is an agency that works for farmers. It is our responsibility to keep the farmers informed of the latest programs and services that we have to offer. FSA recognizes the importance of agriculture in our local and state economy,” said John McCauley, state executive director.
In addition to gaining hands-on access to the newest and most innovative products on the market, attendees also benefited from row after row of products and services, demonstrations of the latest technological advancements and a variety of free seminars.
