As interest in agribusiness grows, Georgia colleges and universities are finding ways to adjust to the demand. University of Georgia is expanding its curriculum and looking for ways to enhance its agriculture degrees. A study on the workforce training needs of agribusiness showed that many Georgia residents were going out of state and to other institutions in order to study agriculture. University officials said they are responding to the need for more agriculture courses and degrees to keep students local. (Georgia Farm Monitor).
