BCAP Can Help Reluctant Farmers Enter Biomass Industry

With the demand for biomass increasing, the U.S. Fuels Standard mandates that 100 million gallons of cellulosic fuel be used as transport fuel in 2010 and 16 billion gallons by 2022. Yet producers wanting to enter the biofuels market are hesitant due to the long-term commitment, novel agronomic practices and unique harvesting equipment.
