Senate Votes to Extend Pay Freeze Through 2013

The Senate will vote today on a bill that would extend the federal pay freeze through 2013. The bill, introduced by Sen. Pat Roberts, would extend the freeze to members of Congress and legislative employees. The savings is expected to offset other measures contained in bill.
